How it runs.

I meet you near the Target and we get going before the buses do. You get the exact spot once your date is confirmed.
Morning
Halfway to Hana
Banana bread from the oldest recipe on the road, and no fifty-deep line for it. The first waterfalls while the light is still low.
Midday
Black sand and sea caves
Where the road opens up. Time in the water if the ocean is behaving, and the stops that only make sense on a given day.
Afternoon
Waioka
The swim, and the jump if you are up for it. This is the one people talk about on the drive home.

Back in Kahului
Your photos and video come after, edited — the whole day, captured properly.
When the back side is open I run the full loop. Otherwise it is down and back — and the order of the day shifts with the road and the rain.
